Today we did something called "hiking." Since it was our first time since I was born, Mommy made Daddy only go for 2.5 miles. But we still saw a waterfall and a cool old house! I had fun riding in my Ergo carrier.

Mommy's helping me practice sitting up this time. It's fun, but I can't be bothered to do it on my own yet!

Have you met my friend the worm? Daddy bought him for me before I was even born! He went to a special toy store in New York City (ed. note FAO Schwartz) and picked him out just for me! I like to grab him, eat him (especially that tasty nose) and shake him around.

Today was my first day at something called daycare. I think it should be called play care, because that's what I do all day, only with other kids! I had a good time and didn't cry very much at all. I can't wait to go back!

Today was Mommy's first day of something called work, so she had to leave me all day. I didn't mind - I stayed home and played with Daddy!
